Pass Pro is the podcast that takes you behind the scenes of the music industry. For ten years, Mélodie Gambin has been supporting artists in the development of their digital strategy. Each week, a guest comes to share the secrets of their profession: the episodes deal with new issues in the promotion of artists in the face of digital developments, NFTs, artist management, the production of ideas and more. The name “pass pro” is a nod to the badge used in the backstage.
The brief
For this identity, we have designed a special typeface whose rhythm is mainly focused on chasing lowercase vowels and processing capital consonants. Our typographic approach gives way to an imposing geometric symbol. The P of Pass Pro takes up the idea of the sound wave or the conversation. These shapes are declined in a modular and unpredictable system like an audiogram. We have selected the Aspekta sans serif typeface (designed by Ivo Dolenc) in different weights for titles and body text and a scalable, even completely free color palette. The graphic charter gave rise to the deployment of an Instagram grid: from classic publication to a principle of reels and stories.
